Rebecca Jill Imhof went home to be with our Lord on June 10, 2025, at New Perspectives in Prior Lake, Minnesota, surrounded by love and faith.
Born on October 14, 1952, in Anderson, Indiana, to John Herbert and Margie Pattengal, Jill was a woman of unwavering devotion—to her faith, her family, and her community. A lifelong follower of Christ, her love for the Lord guided her through every season of life. She was deeply involved in her church, where she found joy, purpose, and lasting friendships.
In 1976, Jill married the love of her life, Gary Imhof. Their marriage was a true testament to partnership and love, lasting 46 beautiful years before Gary’s passing. Together, they built a life centered around faith, family, and quiet joys.
Jill found peace in the simple things. She loved cross-stitching and was always happiest with a needle and thread in hand, creating gifts and keepsakes that will be cherished forever. She also loved a good game of bingo and the warm community it brought her.
Jill is survived by her devoted son, Joshua Imhof, and his wife Destiny, as well as her cherished grandsons, Alexander and Maxwell Imhof. She was so proud of the family they built and loved her role as a grandmother more than words can express.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Gary, her mother Margie Pattengal, and her father John Herbert.
Jill leaves behind a large and loving extended family, including her siblings: Cheryl Rhum (Terry), Brad Herbert (Rene), Kim Cecil (Charlie), Johnnie, Rex, Jeff, and Rick Herbert; as well as Cindy Kirschner, Janice Walkins, and Pam Miller. She was also a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Jill’s legacy is one of love, faith, and kindness. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
A funeral service will be held on June 21st at 11:00 a.m. at St. Columban Church in Littlefork, Minnesota.
Gathering of family and friends one hour prior to service.
Following the burial, all are welcome to join the family for a luncheon at St. Columban Church.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
