In Loving Memory of Puhnnatorn “Luke” Nguyen
(2011–2025)
Puhnnatorn “Luke” Nguyen, age 14, of Gilbert, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Luke was born on August 30, 2011, to Ryan Nguyen and Amy Panawechsanti.
Luke was a kind-hearted, spirited boy who brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. A freshman at Perry High School, he was known for his love of baseball, his calm demeanor, and his ability to make everyone smile. Whether he was practicing with his team, helping friends with homework, playing piano or joking with his younger sister Lily, Luke filled every moment with energy and warmth.
He had a great passion for baseball, beginning with Little League at the age of 11. His dream was to one day play for the LA Dodgers, and he spent countless afternoons practicing his pitch & swing with his dad at the parks. Luke also enjoyed robotics, chess, piano, playing video games, and recording fun videos with his sister. He had immense passion for food — from family pizza nights to buffets, he was always the first to grab a plate and the last to leave the table. He especially loved trying new restaurants, cheering whenever there were ramen noodles for dinner, and finding ways to make every meal a celebration. Food, for Luke, was more than just something to eat — it was a way to laugh, share, and enjoy time with the people he loved most.
Luke is survived by his parents, Ryan Nguyen and Amy Panawechsanti; his sister, Lily; grandparents, Thang and Thiem Nguyen of Chandler, and grandparents Somsak and Supranee Panawechsanti in Thailand; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who loved him deeply.

Memorial & Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 25th, from 4pm – 7pm. We welcome you to share a fond memory of Luke (either written or oral). Luke’s life, though far too short, was filled with love, laughter, and light. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
