Piper Curtis passed away April 9, 2025, at the age of 60. She was born in St. Paul, MN. Her family eventually settled in Novato, California. Piper’s love knew no bounds and her smile and infectious laughter lit up every space she occupied. She lived her life with an open heart and a generous spirit, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her. She truly represented the best of humanity.

After graduating from San Rafael High School, Piper spent most of her years working at the Cedars of Marin in Ross, CA where she learned to weave beautiful rugs and placemats. Piper’s other passions included her time as an athlete with Special Olympics, watching Days of Our Lives and listening to her favorite music.

Piper is survived by her parents, Larry and Ramona Curtis; siblings, Scott Curtis (Margaret), Kristen Curtis (Laura), and Laura Kacir (Mark). She will also be deeply missed by her six beloved nieces and nephews, who brought immense joy to her life.

A celebration of Piper’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those who wish to honor Piper’s memory do so by practicing acts of kindness and love in their own lives, just as she did in hers..
