Philomena Goodwin

Philomena Goodwin ,93 of Nanuet, NY, passed away peacefully on the 24th of July. Born on October 18th 1931, in New York ,NY to John McGuire and Alice McGuire. Philomena was a devoted Wife, Mother ,and Grandmother. She is predeceased by her husband Walter Goodwin.

Philomena is survived by her Son , Richard J Goodwin and daughter in-law Heidi Goodwin. Daughter , Gayle T Rewalt. Grandchildren- Richard J Goodwin, Shawn Goodwin, Kristin Goodwin Lilla, Erica Soto, Jamie Rewalt , Kaitlyn Rewalt and Ryan Rewalt. Great grandchildren-Madison Goodwin, Arianna Marty, Austin Lilla ,Angelina Suarez, Landon Goodwin, Caiden Soto ,James Lilla ,Brody Goodwin, Bryce Lilla, Tristan Soto, Kaison Williams And Layla Rewalt and also by her sister in-law Barbara Goodwin-Engels and nieces and nephews.

Philomena worked at Sears in Nanuet where she played many roles at for over 40 years ( Even when she retired). She was the true definition of hard worker and dedication.

Philomena especially loved spending time at her lake house in the Berkshires. Where she swam, snow skied and spent quality time with her family for many years. She made some of her best memories there.

Philomena will be deeply missed by many. She left an imprint on everyone she crossed.

Visitation will be held on Thursday 7/31 at Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home in West Nyack from 3:00pm-7:00pm.
