Phillip (Phil) Richtmyre, 82 of Cadott, WI. passed away peacefully on April 23rd, 2025 at his home after battling pancreatic cancer for 4 years.

Phil was born on December 8th, 1942 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. to Ernest and Jenny Richtmyre.

Following High School Phil was in the US Army from 1964-1966. He served his country in Vietnam for 10 months, working with the Construction Engineers building roads and air strips.

Phillip was united in marriage to Jean Parsons on August 18th, 1970 at the Chippewa Valley Bible Church in Chippewa Falls, WI.

After returning home he worked with his brother in law Don Balts building and remolding homes around the Cadott and Jim Falls area. Phil worked for Jensen Homes in Eau Claire.

In 1984 he began his own business building and remodeling homes.

He was always willing to help out his family and friends with building and remodeling projects.

He enjoyed yearly family picnics with his grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended close family and also helping others whenever they needed help.

Phil is survived his wife Jean (Parsons) Richtmyre; 3 children Gary Sandvig, Tim (Laura) Sandvig and Lisa (Dan) Clemmens; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a brother David (Carol) Richtmyre and also by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; 5 sisters and infant granddaughter Shanda Lynn Sandvig.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 5th, 2025 at the Chippewa Valley Bible Church 531 E. South Ave. Chippewa Falls, WI. with Pastor Troy Solava officiating.

A Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service Monday morning at the Church.

Interment with Full Military Honors will be held at the Holcombe Cemetery, Holcombe, WI. at 2:30 PM on Monday.
