Peggy Williams
Peggy Ann Williams, age 91, passed away August 31, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 30, 1933, the daughter of Joseph and Alma (Foster) Brothers, in Shiloh, North Carolina. She graduated from Shiloh High School in 1952. Peggy married her beloved husband Thomas on December 16, 1955. She worked for many years at the City of Warren in the court system. Peggy was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Red Hats Society, Washington Methodist Church and sang in various choirs over the years. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed by many.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, loving children Janet (Paul) Smith of Roseville, Katherine Bittner of Clinton Twp., and Larry (Stephanie) Williams of Almont; 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son Michael Williams, grandson Jason Harrington and sister Billie Travis.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2024 from 11:00am – 1:00pm with the Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00pm all at Muir Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, 296 S. Main St.-Romeo, MI 48065. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, in Shelby Twp. Memorial Donations can be made in Peggy’s name to the American Heart Association.
