With sadness and love, we announce the passing of Paul “Joe” LeBlanc on September 12, 2025, at the age of 66.
Paul was predeceased by his parents, Marie and Herve LeBlanc. He leaves behind his beloved daughters Vanessa (Tom) Kenney and Danielle (Jack) Young, who were the pride of his life. He also leaves his grandson, Waylon, a new light in his world whom he was proud to meet and speak of with joy. He is survived by his sisters, Annette Killam (late Terry) and Janice Pellerin, and his brother, Normand (Hildegarde), as well as extended family and friends made along the way.
Paul often walked a winding road in life, but at his core, he had a kind and giving heart. He had a gift for conversation, always able to connect with people from all walks of life. Whether he knew you for years or had just met you, he treated everyone the same — quick to talk, quicker to help.
One of the most meaningful moments in Paul’s later years was his 66th birthday, which he spent surrounded by his daughters, their husbands, and his grandson. He told them it was the best birthday he’d ever had — a memory that now brings great comfort to those who loved him.
Paul’s closest companion in his final years was Angel, his loyal dog and best friend. They were rarely apart, and her presence brought him true companionship, love, and comfort.
He pulled off many shenanigans over the years that sometimes left us shaking our heads, but looking back now, those moments have become some of our most cherished memories—bringing smiles, laughter, and warmth whenever we remember them.
A private remembrance will be held by family. In honour of Paul, take a moment to check in on someone, strike up a chat with a stranger, or simply enjoy a quiet moment with a dog.
Though his journey has ended, his impact remains — forever part of who we are.
