Patricia Petrosino

Today, we gather to honor the life of Patricia Petrosino — a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Born in Brooklyn on March 17, 1936, Patricia brought joy and warmth to everyone she met. She graduated from New Utrecht High School, in Brooklyn, New York.

In 1958, she married the love of her life, Louis Petrosino, at St. Finbar’s Church. For 67 wonderful years, their marriage was a true testament to love, faith, and family. She lived for a time in Burlington, Vermont, and eventually settled in Staten Island. She was a proud resident of Dongan Hills, where she shared her beautiful voice in the St. Ann’s Church choir. Her love of singing extended to her years with the Sweet Adelines, where she found sisterhood and harmony in more ways than one. Later continuing her musical devotion at St. Joseph’s after moving to Grasmere.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Louis Petrosino; her sister-in-law, Sandra Lipari; her son, Louis Petrosino Jr. and Cynthia Crescenzi; and her daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Edward Litland, and Maria and Peter LaMarch Jr.

Patricia was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense pride and joy to her life.

Patricia also cherished her friendships, especially those card nights playing canasta — where laughter, stories, and a little friendly competition were always on the table.

She lived a life filled with music, faith, and love. Her voice, her kindness, and her unwavering devotion to her family will echo in our hearts forever.

May her memory be a blessing.

May her song never end.
