Patricia Parker

Patricia Ann Parker was born October 31, 1950, in Fort Knox, Kentucky and passed away September 11, 2025, in her home in Slagle, Louisiana at the age of 74. She worked for many years as a receptionist and had lived in Leesville since 2008. Spending time with her family and extended family members brought her much joy.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Mary Jones; brothers, Darrell Young and his wife Mary Beth and Wayne Kerns; and sisters, Betty Wright and Linda Rockey.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry Parker of Leesville, LA;

sons, David West (Jennie) of Lexington, TN and James Bowen (Jackie) of DeRidder, LA;

daughters, Katie Simmonsen (Robby) of Leesville, LA, Jennifer Parker of Altimonte Springs, FL, and Lisa Parker of Altimonte Springs, FL;

grandsons, Austin West, Mason West, Paxton West, and Talon West all of Lexington, TN;

granddaughters, Cadence Bowen of Lake Charles, LA and Sommer West of Lexington, TN;

sisters, Rebecca Gall of Newark, OH, Jeannie Newsom (David) of Frazeysburg, OH, Debbie Dzierwa (Scott) of Newark, OH, and Sharron Wilson (Jim) of Hebron, OH;

brothers-in-law, Barry Parker of Port Orchard, WA and Jerry Parker of Orlando, FL;

sisters-in-law, Pamela Grissett and Sheryl Grissett both of Orlando, FL;

and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Patricia’s family will arrange a memorial service for a later date.
