Patricia Lenahan

Patricia “Pat” Lenahan, (nee Jacob) a lifelong resident of Park Slope Brooklyn, passed away peacefully of natural causes on April 24, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on December 31, 1949, Pat was a proud resident of Brooklyn, that she loved so dearly.

Pat was predeceased by her husband, Tom, her son, Ray, and her brother, Gerald. Pat’s memory will be forever held in the hearts of her siblings: sisters Peaches and Dotsie, and brothers Tommy, Eddie, Bobby, Billy, and Gary, her nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchild.

Pat spent many years as a clerk at Catholic Charities, where her compassion and empathy touched the lives of those she served. Pat also brought her warmth and kindness to the Jacob Javits Center, where as a waitress, she greeted everyone with a smile.

Her presence was a staple on the stoop of her Brooklyn home, where she would sit for hours, chatting and laughing, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

As we say goodbye to Pat, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of moments that will continue to resonate with all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her smile was brightest when among her family and friends. She loved us all so much. It is her great faith in Jesus that brings us comfort in this difficult time.
