Pascuala Cruz

Pascuala Cruz devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025 at the age of 89 surrounded by her family at home.

Born on May 17, 1936 in Patillas, Puerto Rico to Domingo and Cecilia Irizarry Rosario. She had a deep appreciation of cooking for her friends and family. She moved to Manhattan , NY in 1954 and met her future husband Angel Cruz. They married in 1960 and welcomed their son Melvin in 1961. They had their daughter Myra in 1968 and settled in the Bronx. Pascuala and Angel were married for 65 years and have lived in the same home for fifty years.

She is survived by her husband Angel, daughter and son in law Myra and Daniel Carriero and grandson Christian; Her brother, Raul; her sisters Milagros,  Laura and Irma: as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Jose Manuel Irizarry and Juan Irizarry, her sister Julia Irizarry: and her son Melvin Cruz. She will be sorely missed by her cherished family whose love and memories will live on in their hearts. Her kindness, strength, and unwarring support touched the lives of all who knew her.

Her legacy of love, compassion, and dedication will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of being part of her life.
