Partnering for a Healthier Carson City: Join the Movement for Prevention and Community Wellness
- July 6, 2025

Since 1989, Partnership Carson City (PCC) has been a guiding force for positive change in the community — building stronger families, supporting youth, and promoting a healthier future for all. Now, as the organization looks ahead, it’s calling on the heart of Carson City — its people — to help continue this life-changing work.
For over three decades, PCC has offered a wide range of programs that educate, uplift, and connect the community. From youth substance-abuse prevention and mental health support to citizenship classes and inclusive outreach, the organization has created safe, empowering spaces for residents of all backgrounds.
A Stronger Future, Together
Like many nonprofits, PCC is navigating changes in federal funding that could impact some of its programs. But rather than scaling back, the team sees this as an opportunity to rally community support and grow even stronger.
Donations raised will help sustain and expand key programs such as:
-
Substance abuse prevention for youth and adults
-
Youth mental health and suicide prevention initiatives
-
Citizenship, ESL, and Hispanic outreach programs
-
Operational support to keep services free or low cost for residents
Every contribution — big or small — helps PCC continue offering the resources that make Carson City a healthier, safer, and more inclusive place to live.
How You Can Help
PCC is inviting everyone to be part of the solution. Whether through a donation, sharing their fundraiser, or simply spreading the word, your involvement makes a difference. You can find PCC’s GoFundMe using this link.
