It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Orlando Molina Moya, a beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend, who departed from this world on September 5, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on May 8, 1955, in Casa Grande, Arizona, Orlando lived a life marked by hard work, resilience, and profound love for his family.
Orlando instilled the values of diligence and dedication in his children, who admired him dearly for his unwavering spirit and kindness. Those close to him will fondly remember his passion for collecting unique items, crafting picnic tables, and cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his son, Orlando Moya, Jr., and his daughter, Monica M. Gomez, along with son-in-law Cristoval Gomez. Orlando’s family also includes his cherished siblings: Mary Valle, Ada Bishop, Maribel Garcia, Griselda Moya, and Lillian Moya, as well as Brothers, Lauro Garcia, Jr., Noe Garcia, and Ernesto Moya. The warmth of his heart extended to his six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy into his life. He will also be missed by numerous nephews and nieces, who knew him as a source of strength and inspiration.
Orlando was preceded in death by his parents, Manuela and Lauro Garcia, Sr., his biological father, Gilberto Martinez Moya, Brothers, Arnoldo Garcia and Gilbert Molina Moya, Gilbert M. Moya, and his beloved sons Fernando and Samuel Moya. In their absence, his spirit and teachings live on in the hearts of those he loved.
A visitation will be held in his honor on September 11, 2025, at Heritage Funeral Home, located at 1575 E. Florence Blvd., Casa Grande, AZ , from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A service celebrating his life will follow at 10:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery in Casa Grande immediately following the service. Officiating the service will be Pastor Andrew Combs. The pallbearers are Cristoval Gomez, Orlando Moya IIl, Fernando Moya, Pete Diaz, Noe Garcia, Alexander Macias, Orlando Moya Jr., Honorable Pallbearers Jesse Valle and Lauro Garcia Jr.
As we gather to remember Orlando’s remarkable life, we celebrate the wonderful man he was, the devoted father who loved fiercely, the brother and friend who brought laughter and joy, and the hardworking individual whose legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Though he has departed from our sight, he will remain ever present in our memories, guiding us with the love he so freely gave.
