Oliver “Oddie” Hoffmann
- April 21, 2025

Oddie was a proud San Francisco native raised in the Sunset District and graduating from Lincoln High School. He joined the Coast Guard and then went into the family business with his father Gunther and brother Jay. Hoffmann Paint Company was his life’s work as owner and operator.
Oddie met his wife Carmela Lombardi, soon after his military time, married in 1956 settled in South San Francisco and raised two children, Andy and Gina. They lived in the same house their entire lives, making many, many close friends. He was a member of the South San Francisco Elks Lodge #2091 and President of the SSF Duffer’s for over 20 years.
He loved being with friends and family and their door was always open! They made their house your home for cocktail hours, dinners, football games, Holidays or any excuse to get together. Oddie, like his wife, was a “People Person”. He enjoyed organizing Fishing, Gambling, Vacations trips, Golf Events, dinners, 49er Tail Gates and Super Bowl Parties plus annual Family Picnics to name a few. They were always successful and people left with smiles on their faces and memories that would last a lifetime!!
Carmela predeceased him exactly 2 years prior in April 2023. He leaves behind his son Andy Hoffmann, daughter Gina Pellini (Bob) and granddaughter Andrianna Pellini.
The family would like to say “Thank you” to the Veteran’s Administration, Hospice and especially to Orchard Park Assisted Living, Clearlake. Ca..
Visitation and viewing will be Thursday April 24, 2025 at 10AM at Garden Chapel, 885 El Camino, So. San Francisco. Private committal.
