Northern Nevada Ford dealers celebrated local educators through a social media campaign that invited community members to recognize and honor their favorite teachers and schools.
The campaign, which encouraged nominations from followers across the region, highlighted the invaluable role educators play in shaping future generations.
Following the overwhelming community response, Northern Nevada Ford dealers fulfilled their promise this morning by delivering $250 Visa gift cards to 140 teachers at Carson High School. The $35,000 effort was designed to show appreciation for the dedication, hard work and positive impact teachers make in their students’ lives each day.

“Teachers give so much of themselves to help our kids learn and succeed,” said Tim Milligan, representative for Northern Nevada Ford Dealers. “This is our way of saying thank you and giving back to those who give so much to our communities.”
