Nina Taylor

Nina L. Taylor peacefully went to sleep on May 12, 2025. She leaves behind her beloved mother, Virginia L. Taylor, and cherished daughter, Mariah Mosby-Gee.

Nina was a bright light in every room—warm, friendly, and full of life. She never met a stranger and had a special gift for making everyone feel seen and welcomed. For the past 30 years, she proudly served as a bartender at Gates Bar-B-Q on Linwood, a role she deeply loved and where she formed lifelong friendships with customers and coworkers alike.

A celebration of Nina’s life will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Bethel Seventh-day Adventist Church, 6910 Riverview, Kansas City, KS. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM.
