Nicholas Becharas

Nicholas Dimitrios Becharas, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on September 13th at the age of 84.

Born in Sanga, Arcadia, Greece, to Fr. Demetrios and Fotini Becharas, Nicholas was the youngest of ten children. After completing college, he moved to the United States to build a new life. With determination and an entrepreneurial spirit, he founded his own company, Troyal Manufacturing, proudly calling it “the box business.”

Nicholas married the love of his life, Katherine Becharas, with whom he shared a marriage filled with laughter, devotion, and adventure. Together they raised their daughter, Jaime Becharas, who was his pride and joy.

Known to all as the life of the party, Nicholas had a gift for making others feel at ease. He loved to dance, delighted in telling stories, and was never shy about sharing the occasional irreverent joke. His warmth, humor, and energy lit up every room he entered.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine, and daughter, Jaime, along with many relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor him to raise a glass, share a laugh, and dance in his name.
