By Denise Clodjeaux — Local Rotarians will learn about the Nevada Employee Savings Trust (NEST) Program at the next Rotary Club of Carson City meeting. NEST Program Director Michael Pelham will be the guest speaker.

The public is invited to attend the meeting that takes place Tuesday, June 10, at noon, in the Brewery Arts Center’s Grand Ballroom, 449 West King Street.

NEST is a state facilitated auto-IRA program for businesses that do not offer their employees a retirement plan.

“I think people many business owners aren’t award that they can offer employees a retirement plan that’s both easy and at no cost to the business owner,” Pelham said. “It’s easily done through payroll deductions.”

He explains that NEST is an easy way to save for retirement if your employer doesn’t offer a retirement plan. “For anyone interested in NEST, It’s never too late or too soon to start saving for retirement.”
