Neoma Carter

Neoma “Yvonne” Carter, 80, passed away on February 06, 2025 at Lindsborg Community Hospital in Lindsborg, KS. Neoma was born on May 17, 1944 in Ellensburg, WA to the late Thomas Hobsun and Mary Jane (Benwy) Love.

On February 17, 1987 Yvonne married Lester Ray Carter in Salina, KS. Yvonne worked as a waitress her entire career.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; one sister; and her grandson: Kordel Longacre.

Yvonne is survived by her husband: Lester Ray Carter; sons: Thomas “Leo” Eslinger (Carie) of Roxbury, KS and Johnnie E. Eslinger (Venus) of Marina, CA; as well as 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2025, at Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS.
