Nancy Molnar

Nancy Ann Molnar (née Feenaghty) a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 14, 2025, at the age of 88 in Mahopac, NY.

Nancy was born on November 24, 1936, to Patrick and Sonia Feenaghty at Cumberland Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She spent her professional life serving with dedication in the Bronx Civil Court system, where she was respected for her steady presence, warmth, and integrity.

On October 31, 1959, Nancy married her beloved husband, John Molnar, and together they built a life rooted in love, family, and deep devotion to each other. She was the proud mother of Michelle Kilkenny and mother-in-law to Barney Kilkenny.

Nancy is survived by her loving daughter Michelle Kilkenny and son-in-law Barney Kilkenny, her adoring grandchildren and their spouses: Brian and Angela Kilkenny, Erin and Kevin Ford, Colleen and Jordan Thoma. She was also the proud and loving great-grandmother to Haley, James, and Sean Murphy.

She also leaves behind her dear siblings Mary Kosik, Patrick Feenaghty Jr., and Thomas Feenaghty, and sadly was predeceased by her brothers John Feenaghty and Dennis Feenaghty.

Nancy played an active and irreplaceable role in helping to raise her grandchildren—a true foundation of love, guidance, and support across generations. Known simply and lovingly as “Grams” by all who were blessed to be in her life, Nancy’s nurturing spirit, heartfelt prayers, wisdom, and strength shaped generations.

A proud and active member of her community, Nancy spent many years selling bingo cards at the local firehouse for the weekly senior center bingo game—always with a warm smile, a quick laugh, and a twinkle in her eye. She was best known and loved for her role there because she let everyone pick their own bingo card, a simple gesture that made people feel seen, lucky, and at home. She will be remembered for her quick wit, generous heart, deep love for her family, and her signature ability to make everyone feel welcome.

The family extends heartfelt thanks for your kind words, support, and prayers during this difficult time. All who knew and loved Nancy are welcome to attend and celebrate her remarkable life.
