Nancy Andriole

Nancy Kay Andriole, 91, the wife of Dr. Joseph Andriole, died Sunday at her home in Dunmore following an illness. The couple celebrated 64 years of marriage on June 13, 2025. 

Nancy was born on July 28, 1933, to the late Leonard and Mary Patterson. Nancy was a graduate of Caldwell University in Caldwell, NJ, receiving a degree in Elementary Education. She taught kindergarten at St. Claire’s School and later worked for many years in her husband’s medical practice.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughter; MJ Charbonnier; her grandchildren Luc and Loryn Shay; her son-in-law, Brian of California; her sister, Mary Price of Clarks Summit, PA; and her niece, Monica Skube of Forest City. 

She was preceded in death by her brother, Leonard Patterson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 24, at 3:00 p.m. in St. Paul’s Parish, 1510 Penn Avenue, Scranton, PA.

 Friends may be received from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the church.
