Murlean Jackson

Murlean (Williams) Jackson was born on July 13, 1938 to Sammie and Gracie Williams in Memphis, Hall County, Texas. She was the fourth oldest child of seven. Murlean was a talented beautician, something she loved to do. She loved listening to music and dancing. She attended Morning Side High in Memphis, Texas. She later moved to Ennis, Texas where she met ad married her husband, Herman Jackson. They were blessed with one son.

Murlean is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Jackson, Sr., her parents, Samuel and Gracie Williams, her sisters, Ozell Williams, Roselee Williams, Jo Ann Williams, Vurlice Evans and Sammie Turner and her brother, Avenue D. Williams.

Murlean is survived by her son, Herman Jackson (Carla) of Kansas; nephews, Billie James (Emma), Bobbie Smith of Cameron, Eddie Smith (Bridgett) of LaGrange; nieces, Vurlice Smith and Mary Owens (Carl) of Cameron, Bruinett Evans, Ella Evans, Chad Evans, Randy Evans, Tammie Luper, Jewel Mitchell all of Amarillo.

6 Grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and a host of relatives and friends.
