Kathy Gunn

Kathy Ann Gunn, age 80, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 1, 2025.

Kathy was born on September 26, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late John Kiefer and Molly Masich Kiefer. She spent many years serving her community as a school bus driver for the Brighton Area Schools and attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Catherine Gunn of Beverly Hills, California, and Miriam Nauenburg (James) of Bowdon, Georgia; sister, Mary Rose Kiefer; and her brother, John Thomas Kiefer. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, Marvin Gunn; and sister, Sue Etty.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 10 AM at Carrollton City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
