Monica Stillwell
Monica Lynn “Frady” Stillwell, age 48, of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025. Monica was born on October 3, 1976, in Pickens, GA, to her parents, Grady and Peggy Ann “McArthur” Frady. Monica was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Blue Ridge, GA. She graduated from Gilmer County High School in 1995 and worked as a tufting operator for several years at Shaw Industries.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Joel Donald Stillwell of Ellijay, GA, daughter Elizabeth Ann-Marie Stillwell of Ellijay, GA, son and daughter-in-law Hunter Mason and Cydnee Stillwell of Chattanooga, TN, Parents Grady and Peggy Ann Frady of Ellijay, GA, and brother Jerome Frady of Ellijay, GA. and nephew Jaxon Frady of Ellijay, GA.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 4-9 pm. The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 2 pm at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Daniel Reece and Rev. Anthony Stonecipher officiating. Interment will follow at the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jaxon Frady, Peyton Cruse, Richard Stonecipher, Randy Long, Noah Gill, and Durham Speir. Honorary pallbearers are Ralph Garret, Rusty Rhodes, Scott Logan, and Chuck Handte.
Flowers are being accepted, however, the family asks that no food be brought to the funeral home.
