Carson City, NV – The Mills Park pickleball courts project is complete, with six new courts added for a total of fourteen courts open and available to the public.
The project scope included the replacement of aging and unusable tennis courts with new post-tension concrete pickleball courts, widened sidewalks, and improved access, increasing opportunities for park users of all ages and abilities. Concrete courts will be more durable, last longer, and require less ongoing maintenance.
Additional improvements funded and planned at the park in the coming months include new benches, shade, two restroom buildings, park signage, and windscreens around the courts.
The courts are open to the public free of charge, on a first-come, first-served basis.
