Michael Elliott
Michael John “Mike” Elliott, 65, of Shell Lake, passed unexpectedly on April 29, 2025, at home. He was born May 16, 1959, in Libby, Montana to George and Janice (Hanson) Elliott.
Mike was an avid huntsman and loved his annual hunting trip out west. He also made a point to take trips to Florida. Mike enjoyed spending time at the lake on his beloved pontoon and fishing. Most of all, he loved his family fiercely and cherished any opportunities to brag about his grandsons as their ‘Pappy’.
He is survived by his daughters: Serena Elliott (Ty Hopke), Corinne Elliott, and Tia (Jon) Euler; four grandsons: Carston, Jaxson, Waylon, and Wyatt; mother, Jan Elliott; siblings: Kim (Reed) Scalzo, Tom Elliott (Denise Krantz), Dan (Mary) Elliott; nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his father, George Elliott.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Skinner Funeral Home in Shell Lake with Pastor Heather Kistner officiating. Visitation will begin at Noon. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3 PM at Rummels.
