Mary Higdon

Mary Higdon, our beloved mother was called to her Heavenly home Saturday April 19, 2025.

Mary was born on July 31, 1941 to William and Sadie Burleson. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alton Higdon, son William Higdon, son-in- law, Gary Cantrell, and several siblings.

She is survived by her daughters; Vanessa Mullenix (Paul), Mechelle Cantrell, Natalie Franklin (Greg); grandchildren, Robin Higdon Parsons (Alex), Christian Higdon, Troy Huey, Ally Graves (Nicholas); and her sister Doris Grubbs.

After many years of service, she retired from Brookville Elementary and Bottenfield Jr High, where she spent her heart feeding and loving on the children in her community. The greatest joys of her life were her children and grandchildren. She was very devoted to her family. She loved to travel and she loved the Lord with all her heart.
    

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 23, 12:00 P.M. with funeral services at 1:00 P.M at the Crestview Memorial Funeral Home.

Burial will take place in the Biven’s Chapel Cemetery.
