Marshall Dykes, Jr.
Marshall D. Dykes, Jr., age 71 of Sevierville, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
Marshall was employed by Cherokee Textile Mills for 16 years and was a residential and commercial contractor. He rode horses most of his life and loved farming. Marshall was a wonderful Husband, Dad and Papaw.
He is preceded in death by his father Marshall D. Dykes, Sr. and mother Corina Dykes.
Survivors include his wife Renee Dykes; son Derek Dykes (Whitney); daughter Lindsey Smith (Aaron); grandchildren Garon Smith, Corbin Smith, Harper Dykes, Tate Dykes, Lyla Smith and Belle Marshall, who he loved like a granddaughter. In addition, he is also survived by his sister Ledell Dykes; niece Keela Payne and nephews Scott Catlett and Perry Catlett ; mother-in-law Geraldine Parrott; and special friends David Manis, Marc Robertson, Bryan Hicks and Jack Miller.
Per Marshall’s wishes, a formal service will not be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
