Marilyn Ann (Reusser) Schalk was born on August 7, 1935 as the eldest daughter of Alton and Evelyne Reusser and peacefully passed away on July 23, 2025 at the age of 89 surrounded by family in her home.

Marilyn was raised with her three younger siblings, Judy, David, and Marcia near Cicero Kansas. She graduated from Wellington High School in 1953. Marilyn wed and raised her four children on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, which created a love for seafood in the family. After moving back to Kansas in 1978, she worked at Welco for 20 years as a tool grinder before retiring to care for her parents. Marilyn dedicated her life to raising her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and caring for others.

She is survived by her son James Calvin Page Jr. of Wellington, her daughter Linda Ann Dobson of Wichita, her son Michael Alton Page (Lori) of Indiana, and her son William Hamlin Page (Janet) of Wellington. Additionally, her grandchildren and their significant others Bryan (Hannah) Dobson, Trista (Daniel) Farley, Kody (Casey) Page, Chelsy (Jason) Metz, Cole (Hannah) Page, Allison (Brady) Weinmann, Halynn Page, and Rachel (Daniel) O’Crowley. Including her great grandchildren Brooke Dobson, Hendrix Page, Atlas Page, Griffin Metz, Collyns Page, Kennedy Weinmann, Auden Page, Georgia Metz, Sophie Weinmann, Nora Page, Kaiden North, and her siblings Judy London of Wellington, David (Anne) Reusser of Wellington, and Marcia Childers of Arkansas City. She was preceded in death by her grandson Jeremy Dobson, her parents Alton and Evelyne Reusser, and her brother in law Bob Childers.

Private services for Marilyn were held at the Clearwater Cemetery, Clearwater, KS.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Wellington Humane Society. Donations can be mailed or left with the funeral home.
