Marilyn Lange

Marilyn Lange nee Kasper, of Lombard passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 6th, 2025, at age 96. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 68 years, George Lange; her sister, Vivian Hlinka; and her son in law, Jeffrey King. Loving mother of Nancy (John Vacval) Lee of Galena, Ellen (Michael) Abbinanti of Itasca, and Lisa King of Campton Hills. Grandmother of Brandon (Esperanza) Lee, Chloe Abbinanti and Henry King. Great grandmother of Esabella and Elena Lee.

Marilyn studied psychology at Elmhurst College, followed by earning her MSSW from Loyola. Her remarkable career as a Social Worker with DuPage County Health Department allowed her to touch countless lives. Mrs. Lange was a member of the Baha’i’ Faith in Lombard. She was a longtime member of the Art Institute, the Morton Arboretum, the Lombard Garden Club, and the DuPage Art League.

Memorial Gathering will be held Wednesday, August 13th, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main Street, Lombard, IL 60148.
