It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Marilyn Gannon, lifelong resident of Dawson Creek, British Columbia on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the age of 75 years.

Today, our hearts are broken. We said goodbye to our mom, wife and nanny.

She was a force of love, strength, and resilience. Her smile could light you up from the inside out, and her loyalty knew no limits. She gave everything she had to the people she loved, and we were so lucky to be on the receiving end of that kind of love.

She was a miracle. To know her was to be blessed. She had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and deeply cared for. She taught us how to be good humans through her actions, her compassion, and the unwavering love she showed every single day.

Her love for our dad, for us, and for our entire family was nothing short of incredible. It carried us through the hardest moments and made the joyful ones even brighter.

We are honoured beyond words to have called her our mom, wife and nanny. She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always, always cherished.

Now, she is our guardian angel, watching over us with that same fierce love. And if you knew her, you also know that she’s already up there planning some kind of mischief!

Rest peacefully. Thank you for everything. We’ll carry you with us, always.

With respect to Marilyn’s wishes no formal service will be held at this time; however, a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
