Marie Miller

Marie Miller, age 74 of West Van Lear, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Kentucky. She was born on May 31, 1951 in Melvin, Kentucky to the late James Edd Tackett & Myrtle Johnson Tackett. She was the wife of the late Gary Miller. She is survived by her Son: Larry (Darice) Miller of Clovis, California; Daughter: Carrie (Scott) Holbrook of Paintsville, Kentucky; Grandchildren: Felicia Miller, Dante Miller, Tyler Compton, Morgan Holbrook, Journey Holbrook & Kolt Holbrook; Brothers: James Tackett, Gene Tackett, Tommy Tackett, Donnie Tackett, Eugene Tackett & Paul Tackett; Sisters: Angela Moore & Tammy Tackett. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her Great Grandchild: Garyson Bailey. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Visitation will begin Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 6pm at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky and will continue all day Sunday, October 12, 2025

Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 13, 2025 at 12noon at the funeral home with Paul Wayne Browning officiating

Burial will follow at Burton Cemetery, Ligon, Kentucky
