Marilyn Pagan, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and wife, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 15, 2025, in Chicago, IL, after a courageous battle. She was born on July 5, 1959, in Ciales, Puerto Rico, to the late Manuel Angel and Elpidia Pagan.
Marilyn was a force of nature, full of life and an unwavering dedication to her family. She was an amazing mother who always put her children first, showering them with unconditional love and support. Her greatest joy in recent years was her cherished grandson, Aaden, who held a special place in her heart as “Grammy’s only grandson.”
Marilyn’s infectious smile had the power to light up any room, and her love for dancing brought joy to all who knew her. She embraced life with enthusiasm and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Marilyn is survived by her loving children, Cheyla Colon, Yailyn Colon, and Chris Colon, and her beloved grandson, Aaden McGhee. She also leaves behind her sisters, Iris, Rosin and Judy, and her brothers, Papo, Gilberto, and Mikey, along with their families.
Marilyn is now finally resting in peace, reunited with her beloved husband, Leo, who preceded her in death.
