James Bauguess

James Clinton Bauguess, age 78, of Traphill, passed away on Saturday June 14, 2025 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.

Mr. Bauguess was born on February 11, 1947 in Wilkes County to the late Thomas Sherman Bauguess and Mattie Spicer Bauguess.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Beverly Bauguess of the home; a son Jimmy (Tammy) Bauguess of Traphill; a daughter Ann (Larry Pinnix) Fortin of Traphill; two sisters Nell Deacon of North Wilkesboro and Rosemary Hoffay of High Point; grandchildren Amanda Bauguess, Dylan Bauguess, Jimmy Bauguess III, Carleigh Byrd, Haleigh Bauguess, Amber Bauguess, Rebecca Gillispie, Melissa Hathcox, Meaghan Church, Jay Fortin, and Alana Fortin; and several great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service for Mr. Bauguess will be held on Saturday July 5, 2025 at 4pm at the Thurmond Community Building.
