Maria Fameli

Maria Fameli, of Harrison, passed away May 16, 2025. She was 90 years old. Maria was born on February 10, 1935, in San Ferdinando, Calabria, Italy to Dominic & Graziella Mumoli. Maria was a talented seamstress who worked in many clothing retailers over the years. She was a phenomenal cook and baker whose recipes could not be replicated. She was devoted to her family and was also a maternal figure and “2nd mom” to so many. Maria is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, the late Giuseppe Fameli, along with her loving son, Dominick Fameli and his wife, Pamela. She is survived by her cherished son, Salvatore Fameli and his wife Cheryl, and dear grandchildren, Tyler, Alyssa, Alex and Amanda. Maria is the dear sister to Lucia Antolino (Luigi) and the late Rena Puntiero. To honor Maria’s life, family and friends will gather on Tuesday 4-8pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME 767 E. Boston Post Rd Mamaroneck, 914-698-5968. Funeral Mass Wednesday 11 at St. Gregory the Great RC Church followed by interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery.
