MARGIE C. BELLUOMINI
(Margaret)
September 23, 1935 – July 13, 2025
Margie Belluomini passed away peacefully at her home in Brentwood on July 13, 2025, at the age of 89, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on September 23, 1935, in San Francisco, Margie was the beloved daughter of Thomas and Jeanette Fenech, both born in Malta. She was the younger sister of Barbara Fenech and proudly embraced her Maltese heritage throughout her life.
A graduate of Mission High School, Margie began her career at Pacific Bell before joining the family business, Fenech Furniture Company, where she worked for many years.
On May 24, 1958, she married the love of her life, George Belluomini. They shared nearly 64 joyful years of marriage until George’s passing in January 2022. Later that year, Margie moved to the Trilogy community in Brentwood to be closer to her family.
She immediately felt at home. Like a spark catching fire, she quickly became involved in numerous activities, made many new friends, and loved her neighbors and the community.
Margie was a devoted mother to Gina Belluomini and Lynn Trade (Edward Trade), and a loving grandmother to Christopher Roach, Corinna Padilla, Breanna Schwedhelm, Stephen Trade, and Michael Trade.
She was affectionately known as “GiGi” to her seven great-grandchildren: Quinn, Austin, Teagan, Adalynn, Cole, Maverick, and Lucy.
Known for her vibrant spirit and warm heart, Margie lived life to the fullest! She found joy in dancing, bowling, bocce ball, card games, and jigsaw puzzles, and especially cherished time spent with her many lifelong friends.
She loved animals; and they seemed to be drawn to her…likely because she was always offering them treats!
She was a wonderful cook and often described by those who knew her best, as an “energizer bunny.”
Margie and George shared a passion for travel and cruising, embracing every adventure with enthusiasm and gratitude. Upon meeting Margie, people were instantly drawn to her kind and gentle spirit…..her sweetness seemed to wrap around you like a warm hug.
Margie was also active in numerous organizations including the Maltese American Social Club, the Elks Club, St. Elizabeth’s Over 50 Club, the Moose Lodge, and the Verdi Club.
While a parishioner of St. Paul of the Shipwreck, she also volunteered in the food pantry for several years.
She will be deeply missed by her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Barbara, as well as her many nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, and friends. Her legacy of love, laughter, and generosity will remain forever in our hearts.
Tomorrow
When tomorrow starts without me,
and I am not there to see;
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
all filled with tears for me…
I know how much you love me, as much as I love you,
and each time that you think of me,
I know you’ll miss me too
So when tomorrow starts without me,
don’t think we’re far apart…
For every time you think of me,
I’m right here in your heart ❤️
