With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Margery Z. Lapp, age 72, on April 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with ALS.

Margie was a devoted wife, a beloved stepmother, grandmother, cousin, and friend. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Marshall; her stepsons and their wives, David Lapp and Elizabeth Fajardo, Douglas Lapp and Simone Rinaldi; and her cherished grandchildren, Benjamin, Jacob, Sophia, and Aiden Lapp. She is also survived by her cousins Marsha Zellermaier, Robin Hartman, Seymour and Linda Salett, and David Salett, brother-in-law Harold O’Neill and nieces Lindsay and Carly O’Neill. Margie had a profound impact on those around her, both personally and professionally. She worked as a dedicated and compassionate therapist for more than 30 years, helping countless individuals navigate life’s challenges with care, insight, and wisdom. Her devotion to her patients reflected the deep empathy and strength that defined her.

Margie was known for her impeccable taste and sense of style. She and Marshall shared a deep passion for travel, and in recent years they enjoyed exploring Europe together. Margie had a lifelong love of books, music, and delicious food. She had a joyful spirit and a contagious laugh – one that she generously shared with those around her. Her sense of humor not only brought joy to others but also helped her face a devastating illness with extraordinary grace and courage.

More than anything, Margie loved her family and took special pride in her grandchildren.

Margie will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
