LOUDONVILLE: Margaret Louise Weatherbee passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025, in her home surrounded by her family at the age of 80.
She was born on January 5, 1945, to parents John & Dorothy (McFadden) Burkhart in Youngstown, Ohio. Margaret graduated from Loudonville High School with the class of 1964, and she married Harold Weatherbee Jr. on June 27, 1967. The pair were married for 50 years until Harold’s passing in 2018.
Margaret worked at Lyn-Way Restaurant in Ashland for 9 years until retiring in 2010.
She dedicated most of her spare time to her great grandchildren, who meant the world to her, and enjoyed babysitting and caring for them. Margaret was also very creative and enjoyed crafting and crocheting.
She is survived by her daughters Rebecca “Becky” (Doug) Spreng, Debra (Mike) Fortune, and Irene (Jason) Street; her grandchildren Logan (Savannah Elerick) Neely, Andrew “Andy” (Abby Gordon) Krichbaum, Amanda (Joey Ewbank) Krichbaum, and Tyler (Hannah) Street; her great grandchildren Brayden Shreve, Cheyenne Shreve, Mia Krichbaum, Harper Krichbaum, and Cohen Neely; and her siblings Robert (Diane) Burkhart and Shirley Boyer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Harold Weatherbee Jr., several brothers and sisters, and her parents-in-law.
Margaret’s family will receive friends Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Snyder Funeral Home- Lindsey Chapel, Loudonville.
