Margaret “Peggy” Pittenger

Margaret (Peggy) Elizabeth Pittenger, passed away Saturday February 8th, 2025 at OhioHealth Mansfield hospital. 

Peggy was born October 9th, 1956 in Mansfield, Ohio to Joseph and Doloras Gerger. She graduated from Malabar High School in 1976 and continued on to enthusiastically work in retail for many years before retiring from Volunteers of American in 2023. Peggy was one of six children and thoroughly enjoyed being around family and friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Doloras Gerger, and oldest sibling Linda whom passed in 2012.

She is survived by her son Christopher Hummel, daughter in-law Chelsea French, three granddaughters Cailynn Marie, Belle Annamae, Aerilyn Faye, as well as her four brothers Stephen, Jeffery, Mark, and Michael Gerger.
