Margaret “Midge” Fagan
Margaret Mary “Midge” Fagan, 77, of Little River, SC, passed away on July 9, 2025. She was born in the Bronx, New York to the late Francis A. and Rosalie Neyland Stich.
After graduating Carmel High School in 1965, Midge married Michael P. Fagan and worked as a legal secretary in Danbury, CT for 20 years. In 2006, she moved to Little River to enjoy retirement life. Midge volunteered with the North Carolina Sea Turtle Patrol for 16 years. Midge had an infectious laugh that all her friends enjoyed.
Midge is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Michael; two children, Matthew Fagan and wife Erin; and Kelly A. Fagan and her husband Blake McElroy; three grandchildren, Tara Fagan, Kasey Fagan, and Reece McElroy; and her brothers, Paul Stich and Vincent J. Stich. Along with her parents, she is predeceased by a sister, Frances E. Stich.
The family of Midge Fagan wish to thank the Grand Strand Medical Center Neuro ICU nurses for the care given to Midge during her stay.
