Marg is also leaving behind with fond memories many nieces and nephews, a huge circle of friends, an amazing team of home care friends that are so thoughtful and caring to her, and Alt.

There were so many special people in her life, it would take me forever to mention you all, and I fear I would forget someone. She had the most amazing neighbours and friends who cared and did so much for both of them. We will always remember your kindness and friendship.

Having worked at a drugstore for many years and her daily trip to Bidgoods and Tim Hortons, it would appear as if Marg knew the entire communities of the Goulds, Petty Harbour, and Maddox Cove. She loved people, and they loved her. She was never seen without lipstick and rarely without her hair curled by her long-time friend and hairdresser Joss.

She was also well known for her lemon squares and her famous cream puffs, which she proudly shared with everyone she knew. As well as her jugs of Kool-Aid and treats, she provided to all the neighbourhood kids.

At Marg’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 2-9 pm. A funeral service to celebrate her amazing life will be held at Barrett’s Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, July 30, at 2:00 pm.

To know Marg was to love her, and she will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
