Milton, WI – Lyman Fena, Jr, 89, of Milton WI passed away on September 1, 2025. Lyman was born September 8, 1935 to Lyman Fena, Sr. and Isabel (Dietsch) of Beloit, WI. He graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1952 and then went on an apprentice program at Landis Tool Co. Waynesboro, PA, graduating in 1955. He worked as a Journeyman machinist at Gilman, and spent most of his career at GM. In 1956, he married the love of his life, Estella Cushman. They had two children Shellie Martin and Lance Fena (Terri) whom he loved very much. They lived in Milton for most of their lives on their Christmas Tree Farm on Hwy 26. He continued to chain saw, mow and maintain their home where they let the trees grow after retiring. He was quick with a story and a smile. They spent Sundays with their church family and friends at St. Paul’s Lutheran in Janesville. He was an avid reader and they had a large garden. He lived his life simply with faith, love and hard work.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 67 years, Estella; daughter, Shellie Martin; son, Lance Fena (Terri); his sister, Jean Skinner; two grandchildren Amelia Martin and Kyla Raupp; and three great grandchildren, Grace Manriquez (Jonathan), Connor Raupp, and Sophia Raupp.
Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday September 11, 2025 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Janesville. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Burial to follow the services. The Albrecht Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Milton is assisting the family.
