LOUISE (ANTHONY) KERSLAKE
May 10, 1943 – May 9, 2025
Louise Kerslake, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully in Palatka, Florida on Friday, May 9. Born on May 10, 1943, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Louise lived a life full of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
She was the devoted wife and soulmate Harry Kerslake, with whom she shared a deep, enduring love. Together, they built a beautiful life and blended family. Louise is survived by her sons Frank (Beverly), Jimmy (Dottie), and Patrick, and stepchildren Jason (Kimbi) and Steven (Sherry).
Her legacy continues through her grandchildren Sean (Alyssa), Sherry (David), Brett (Stephanie), Ryan (Cheyenne), Rachel, and Alexis, and great-grandchildren Aaliyah, Maya, Jahlias, Olivia, and Amari. She also leaves behind her cherished brothers-in-law Cliff, Fred, and Sam, and many extended family members and friends who were touched by her warmth.
Louise was known for her quick wit, boundless energy, and the ability to speak her mind with fierce honesty. She brought joy and laughter to every room she entered and stood fearlessly for the people she loved. Her deep affection for children guided her work in various childcare facilities throughout her life, where she was adored for her nurturing spirit and sense of fun.
She had a passion for traveling and never missed a chance to spend time with her family. To Louise, family was everything. She taught those around her to embrace life with love and levity, never taking things too seriously, and always prioritizing the people who matter most.
Per her wishes, there will be no formal service or memorial. Louise asked that her ashes be mixed with those of her beloved Harry and released into the St. Johns River—a final journey together, as inseparable in eternity as they were in life.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Messages of sympathy may be shared on Louise’s online tribute page at: themastersfuneralhome.com.
Masters Funeral Home of Palatka is in charge of arrangements.
