In Loving Memory of Louis Joseph Murry, Jr.

March 5, 1944 – September 14, 2025

We celebrate the life of Louis Joseph Murry, Jr., a devoted father, veteran, friend, and cherished family member, who passed away on September 14, 2025.

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the union of Theodore Godlove and Louis Joseph Murry, Sr., Louis was raised in the Catholic Church and attended Catholic school in New Orleans.

He served in the United States Air Force, where he trained as an aircraft mechanic, and further enhanced his skills at Alameda College. He later worked for the Oakland Airport as an aircraft mechanic and was employed by the United States Post Office.

Louis devoted himself to his children and community. He coached basketball at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic School, mentored young people, enjoyed riding motorcycles, and loved hosting and attending gatherings.

Louis’s legacy lives on in the lives of his children and all who knew him. May his memory continue to inspire joy, laughter, and celebration.
