Born, raised, and educated in Taipei, Taiwan, Louis obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University, and achieved his Master of Science degree from Washington University. Blessed with a brilliant mind, Louis embarked on his career as an Electrical Engineer focusing on antenna and radio frequency engineering research and development, and became a subject matter expert in his field, and in the study of electromagnetic wave propagation. He began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories, later working at Raytheon, and BAE Systems. Most notably, his work is recognized through many U.S. patents while working at the Bose Corporation, where he worked to achieve transition of electronic devices from wired to wireless technologies, and understand EM wave propagation throughout and around the human body. A man of great faith, Louis loved God, and studied the Bible with Greek concordance for years to better enjoy, understand, and teach others its meaning. Louis also enjoyed pencil portrait drawing, loved listening to classical music, and enjoyed his salt-water aquarium(s), which he had for decades, and which were home to soft and hard corals, decades old tropical fish, starfish, hermit crabs, live rock and various other sea animals. Above all, Louis was a loving family man, a devoted husband, proud and loving father, brother, uncle, and friend.
