Friends and family, we gather in joy to celebrate the blessed life of Loretta Covarrubias, a beacon of love and laughter, who walked into the arms of our Lord on the 10th of May, 2025. Born on the 10th of December, 1972, in the vibrant heart of Orange County, Loretta was a shining example of faith and joy that illuminated the lives of all who knew her.

Loretta’s journey began in the sun-kissed classrooms of Orchard Elementary, meandered through the halls of Bernardo Yorba Jr. High, and culminated with pride at Esperanza High School.

Throughout the years, Loretta served with a generous heart at Corona Christian School, ACA, and Target. She later brought her abundant talents to Cova Construction, where she worked closely with her husband, Martin.

In holy matrimony, Loretta was united with her beloved Martin, a partnership graced by the Lord with love and mutual respect. Together, they raised a family rooted in faith and joy. Their children—Martin, who found his soulmate in Precious; Anissa, joined in love with Michael; and Justine, in harmonious union with Andrew—were her pride and joy. The blessings continued with her treasured grandchildren, Zarah, Brielle, Jacob, Elsie, Travis, Malachi, and baby Isla, each a sparkling jewel in the crown of her life.

Loretta’s siblings, Jeannie and Miguel, shared in the tapestry of her life, weaving memories of laughter and support that will forever be cherished.

Loretta’s interests were a reflection of her vivacious spirit. She found solace in the fellowship of the church, basked in the magic of Disneyland, and reveled in the serene beauty of Hawaii. Her love for Target was only matched by her passion for Coffee and Homegoods, places where she found both treasures and camaraderie.

To describe Loretta is to speak of love, a love that was as boundless as it was unconditional. She was funny, a wellspring of joy that quenched the thirst of weary souls. Above all, she was faith-filled, a steadfast servant of God who walked in His grace and shared His light with all.

As we stand here in Eastvale, where Loretta drew her last earthly breath, let us not be swayed by the tempest of sorrow, but rather be uplifted by the legacy she leaves behind—a legacy of laughter, love, and unwavering faith.

Let us carry forward the memory of Loretta Covarrubias, not as a whisper of the past, but as a clarion call to live with the same fervor and joy that she embodied.

As we commit her soul to eternal rest, let us take solace in the knowledge that she has been received into the everlasting embrace of our Heavenly Father. And let us proclaim, with hearts full of gratitude, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”

May the life of Loretta Covarrubias be forever etched in our memories, a testament to the power of love and the strength of faith. And until we meet her again in that glorious place where parting is no more, may we walk in the light of her example, ever inspired, ever uplifted, ever blessed. Amen.
