Loreta Wallace

Loreta Martha Wallace, 94 of Wayne, WV, went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 19, 2025 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2025 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel by Elders Roger Maynard, Tommy Damron and Tony Clay. Burial will follow at Sallie Smith Cemetery, Dunlow, WV. She was born April 10, 1931, a daughter of the late Wayne Franklin Pack and Eria Smith Pack. Loreta worked for many years at Trautwein’s and Asbury’s Supermarket and was a faithful member of Salem United Baptist Church. Her husband of 63 years, Limuel Wallace also preceded her in death, along with her siblings, infant Paul Joseph Pack, infant Mollie Jean Pack, Merrill Pack, Delores Robertson, Bruce Pack and William Lafe Pack. Survivors include her sisters, Lola Finnell of Bruswick, OH, Peggy Wallace of Rittman, OH, Bonnie Brown of Huntington, WV, Janice Riley of South Point, OH, Brenda Maynard (Lee) of Crown City, OH, Vera Wynema Stiltner (Doug) of Wayne, WV; her brothers Marvin Pack (Shelley) of Sterling, OH, Wayne Douglas Pack (Marti) of Willowood, OH, Richard Pack (Darla) of Barboursville, OH; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time Monday, June 23, 2025 at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, WV. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the Doctors and staff at St. Mary’s Medical Center CV-ICU unit, especially nurses, Hannah and Madison.
