Lois S.A. Wilder, 88, went home to reside with the Lord on Monday, July 14, 2025, with her
family by her side.
Born on November 8, 1936, in Canton, Ohio, to the late Walter and Josabelle Laney, Lois
was a lifelong servant of Christ. A powerful minister and gifted orator, she touched
countless lives through her passionate sermons and unwavering dedication to teaching the
Word of God. As a talented musician with a commanding singing voice, Lois served
faithfully as the organist and choir director at both Pentecostal Temple Church and True
Vine Ministries for many years.
Lois was known for her wisdom, deep faith, and love of scripture. A devoted student of the
Bible, she had a profound impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her-oQering
encouragement, insight, and the presence of Christ wherever she went.
Lois was united in marriage to her McKinley High School sweetheart, Pastor Willie Wilder.
Their loving union spanned 69 years. Together, they raised a beautiful family, including
seven children, 27 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved son Curtis Wilder Sr.; sisters
Willester Fisher, Ethel Parker, Virginia Lucas, and Helen Humphries; and great-grandson
Billy Harvey.
Lois is survived by her devoted husband, Pastor Willie Wilder; her children Phyllis Milini,
Rachel Currie-Wilder, David Wilder Sr., Adrianne (Ken) Washington, Crystal Calloway, and
Joy Evans; Sisters; Josephine Laney, Geri (Rufus)Williams, Gloria (Joe Sr.) Earley, and Jean
Turner, and a large, loving extended family.
Lois S.A. Wilder leaves behind a lasting legacy of faith, love, and spiritual strength. She will
be deeply missed and forever remembered.
