Linda Watkins
Linda Marie (McClary) Watkins, formerly of Austin, Minnesota, and St. Peter’s, Missouri, born January 3, 1950, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois, at the age of 75.
Linda was a woman of strong faith, unwavering strength, and a deep-rooted love of family. Linda’s greatest joys in life came from her family. She was a devoted daughter, a supportive sister, a selfless mother, a proud grandmother, and a caring friend to many.
She loved to bake and enjoyed puzzles, board games, and playing cards. Her favorite pastimes included catching up on the latest TV dramas and cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals. Spending time with her children, grandchildren, and grandpets was the highlight of her life.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Virginia McClary. Surviving her are her daughters and sons-in-law, Tara (Brad) Arnold of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, and Autumn (Brian) Massey of Wildwood, Missouri along with her four grandchildren, Anna Massey, Jillian Arnold, Seth Arnold, and Isabelle Massey. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Cheryle (Dale) Walker of Rapid City, South Dakota, and her niece and nephew, Cory Walker and Eric (Sara) Walker.
A private, graveside Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Austin, Minnesota. Linda will be interred at Grandview Cemetery in Austin, Minnesota, alongside her parents.
