On August 10, 2025, Linda Deloma Duggan, 76, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior, reuniting with her beloved husband, Myles, who preceded her in death on August 15, 2024.
Linda was born on April 24, 1949, in Phoenix to Deloma Jane Falls and Charles Zimiri Falls. She was the cherished sister of Charles Falls and Steven Falls (wife Mehri), and a loving aunt to Sabrina Thompson, Derek Falls, Ardavon Falls, and Melanie Falls and great-aunt to Torsten, Zander and Ember .
Linda called Arizona home her entire life. She was a woman of boundless energy and curiosity, embracing adventure at every opportunity—parasailing over sparkling waters, biking scenic flumes, hiking wild trails, exploring new cities, kayaking, sailing, ATV riding, ziplining, and swimming. Her favorite color was blue, reflecting both the sky she loved to explore and the calm, steady presence she brought to others.
She excelled in the insurance industry, where she met her two best friends of nearly 40 years, Penny Trow and Michelle Rice. But when her daughter was in high school, Linda took a bold leap—leaving her high-level position to attend night school and earn her teaching degree. For ten years, she taught elementary and middle school with joy, passion, and care, fulfilling a lifelong dream.
When Myles’s health began to decline, Linda retired again, devoting herself to his care as his advocate, partner, and best friend until his passing. During this chapter, she pursued another dream—writing. She became a published author with three novels, including her “Creekside Dreams” series through The Wild Rose Press, and won a literary competition hosted by the City of Tempe and Arizona State University for her nonfiction short story Midnight Adventure.
Linda’s deepest fulfillment came from her role as mother to her “miracle baby,” Christina. Being a mom was her greatest joy, giving her a place to pour her endless love. Christina was not only her daughter but her soulmate and closest friend.
A devoted Lutheran and longtime member of Prince of Peace Church in Arizona, Linda taught the three-year-old Sunday school class for nearly 20 years. She loved hosting parties like her mother before her, enjoying happy hours at Mexican restaurants with friends, traveling the world with family, and taking “girls trips” with her daughter and niece Sabrina.
Before they married, Linda asked Myles what he wanted from their life together. His answer: “To be a great husband and father and live happily ever after.” For 38 years, they dedicated themselves to doing just that.
Linda’s legacy is one of faith, loyalty, adventure, courage, and love. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by daughter Christina, her brothers and their families, and her many dear friends. Additionally, she leaves behind four stepchildren from Myles: Lizbeth, Sean, Jill and Eric along with nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Rest in peace Linda.
